Lovesick Homesick Seasick

On Bank Holiday Monday George played for ages with a girl he met named Georgia on the playground at Stewarts Park. Afterwards, while we ate our sandwiches, he told me he couldn't stop thinking about her.

My brother Paul got on a plane in Tucson, Arizona this week and flew via Dallas and Chicago to Manchester. When I finished work on Wednesday he was at our Mother's place eating pie and chips. First time he's been back in nearly six years.

Meanwhile, Mr. Moore and his minstrels continue their Mediterranean tour.

Sound of Growth

George really enjoyed watching and hearing the percussionists of Young Musician of the Year on Friday night, so on Saturday morning we gave the dog-walkers of Linthorpe Cemetery a special performance on the hollow steel sculptures that stand in the centre of the grounds, collectively entitled 'Growth,' plus the xylophone-like benches that surround them.
